Well here goes! Our family's first blog site! I am learning as I go! We have decided to create this site to help update friends and family on our journey to adopting our daughter/sister.
So after much praying, paperwork, praying, waiting, emails, praying,waiting, phone calls, and yes more waiting; we finally received our first invitation to Russia. We will be traveling on Jan. 26th to Moscow and then to Siberia for 2 days then back again. This is only our first trip to meet our daughter. When we return we wait again for a call to return to Russia to go before the Russian court and officially adopt our daughter. Then we can finally bring her home! We only have a week to gather everything we need to make our first trip; visas, paperwork, plane tickets, etc. So the past 24 hrs have been a whirlwind! So we are asking everyone who visits this "blog"- Please pray for our daughter in Siberia (for a warm reception, for her caretakers, for her spirit); pray for the boys (their patience in this process, and being without us for a week) pray for my parents who will be staying with the boys while we are gone (Phe will spend much of her time with homework and transporting them to different lessons and events!) and please pray for Steven and I as we travel out of the country for the first time and meeting our daughter for the first time! Thank you for all of your prayers and support! We have seen God's presence during our entire journey; and we know God will continue to be with us!
