Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever!
Ladi Elizabeth is Home!
We made it home last night around 7:30. It was an incredible homecoming! Steven and I were so happy to be home and so humbled by the "welcoming" committee! And Ladi was very excited to see everyone waiting for her to arrive home! She spent last night and today getting to know her brothers and grandparents as well as her new "dome" (home in Russian!). As you may know we are still adjusting to our new time zone and schedule so today I will just post pics from Russia. I promise to give a full update later! However, I do want to say thank you to everyone that prayed for us while we were gone and we felt every prayer that was made. We were talking on the night before we went to pick Ladi up and we were saying how blessed we were with such loving and giving family and friends. And how were we ever going to be able to show how truly thankful we are for all the love and support we have been shown! Thank you, Thank you, and again Thank you! We love you all!

Mom and Dad called at 7:15 PM, May 22,(7:15 AM, May 23 in Siberia). Ladi spent the night with them at their hotel. When Ladi left the orphanage, she said goodbye to her friends and her caretakers and even her bed! She is very proud of her new clothes. She holds Mom and Dad's hand and talks to everyone they see. Ladi's favorite treat is ice cream! She will love Ice Cream Monday!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
We are Russia bound! To bring Ladi Elizabeth home!
Steven and I will be flying from Wilmington to Atlanta tomorrow morning and then to Moscow. We will arrive in Moscow around 10:30 am (their time). In Moscow we will have our doctors appointments to get our physicals. Monday night we will fly to Siberia and we will arrive there early Tuesday morning (again their time- they are 12 hrs ahead of us). Steven and I want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. We could not have come this far without all of your love; our family is truly blessed! (Girls; I have my prayer book close and I will be praying over and over the prayers and Bible verses you have written down for me!) We ask that you continue to pray over our trip, for our boys at home, for my parents who will be watching them, and Ladi Elizabeth- that she will come to know us as poppa and momma!
We will be updating the blog while we are in Russia; I hope to be able to send pictures!
We love you all!
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
