Brady reading "The Very Grouchy Ladybug" to Steven. Brady was so proud of this book! He illustrated it and was asked to read it to Bryson's 3rd grade class last week at school!

We survived "birthdays" week! It is such a fun time of the year with Bryson and Brady's birthdays a week a part- we party ALL week long! And before too long we will be celebrating Ladi's arrival home! One month from today is our court date in Russia. We are busy getting all the last minute paper work together, finishing her room and dreaming about the day we bring her home! We all are very excited! Please continue to pray for Ladi and that everything goes "smoothly" from now until we bring her home!

Happy 6th Birthday Brady!

6 years ago this morning Edward Brady Leger made his grand entrance! Our life has not been boring (or quiet) since then! Brady had a most wonderful day; he celebrated at school with his classmates and he chose to go eat pizza for his birthday dinner. And for his birthday present, his dad has been very busy the past couple of weeks building him a tree fort in the back yard (or should I say "bunker hill"). Tomorrow Brady will have over his good buddies for lunch and fun and games! He is so excited!

We have a definite court date! May 21st. It is not as close to the 6th as we had hoped (see last blog); but at least we know for sure now! Please, please continue to pray for Ladi; pray that God is continuing to hold her and that she will be home soon.

Happy 9th Birthday Bryson!

It is hard to believe that 9 years ago William Bryson Leger entered this world! We have been celebrating all day with friends and family because the children are out of school this week for spring break. Phe made Bryson's favorite meal for lunch- fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy-yum! And he is having a friend spend the night tonight! They plan on playing games and staying up all night long!

Quick update on Ladi- we received a call from Elena today saying our court date has been set for May 6th. However, it may be changed to the following week (like the 12th) because of scheduling and Russian holidays. So either way at least we know that we will be traveling soon! I will update the blog as soon as we know the court date for sure. Please continue to pray! Love to all!

I received an email today from our agent, Elena. She told us GREAT news that the release papers for Ladi have arrived from Moscow to Siberia and we will receive our court date within the next few days! Praise God! This paper is the most important one in the whole process--- so we are oh so close to bringing Ladi home! I will update as soon as we know the court date. Thank you all for your continued prayers!
